X-RAY Abdomen Supine View

300.00

An X-Ray of the Abdomen (Supine View) is a diagnostic imaging test taken while the patient is lying flat on their back (supine position). This view helps in detecting:

  • Intestinal blockages (bowel obstruction)
  • Abnormal gas patterns in the intestines
  • Abdominal masses or tumors
  • Kidney stones or gallstones
  • Enlargement of organs (liver, spleen, kidneys, etc.)
  • Ascites (fluid buildup in the abdomen)
  • Foreign objects in the digestive tract

This test is commonly performed along with an erect (standing) abdominal X-ray for a more comprehensive diagnosis.

    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing without metal zippers, buttons, or belts.
    • Remove jewelry, piercings, and any metal objects before the scan.

     Motion & Positioning Instructions
