MRV (Magnetic Resonance Venography) of Both Lower Limbs is a specialized MRI scan that focuses on the veins in the legs, helping detect vascular abnormalities, blockages, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), varicose veins, and venous insufficiency.
This test is useful for diagnosing:

  • Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) – Blood clots in deep veins
  • Venous Insufficiency – Poor blood flow from the legs back to the heart
  •  Varicose Veins – Enlarged, twisted veins
  • Venous Malformations or Obstructions
  •  Leg swelling and unexplained pain

The scan may be performed with or without contrast, depending on the need for detailed visualization.
